In the recently concluded university-wide teaching evaluation, Professor Di Qian's course Environmental Health Issues from a Global Perspective, offered to international students in the Spring 2024 semester, ranked in the top 5% of the university. This marks the second time the course has achieved this ranking, following its success in the Spring 2020 evaluation. The course is part of the "Master's Program in International Public Health" and aims to train public health professionals for developing countries while increasing their understanding of China. During the spring semester, Professor Di employed the "Socratic Method" in teaching, focusing on case discussions with students and using several domestic artificial intelligence tools to assist in the teaching process. These domestic AI tools received widespread praise from international students.
